How do I close my La Caixa bank account?
In order to close the account officially, you have to go to the branch in person with your passport etc. They do it there and then on the computer, although in my case, 6 months after closure i was still getting letters from them asking for maintenance fees, but a email to the branch manager soon put a s top to that.
