What is B4 biology?
This section shows links to revision materials Biology B4 – Processes of Life. Topics include. Overview of Module. Biological processes that take place in cells involve chemical reactions catalysed by enzymes.
What is B3 biology?
The study of animal and plant behaviour will provide opportunities to see how scientists gather data and use it to construct theories that can be scientifically tested, and then to see how these theories are applied to explain further observations.

- B5.3 How do genes control growth and development within the cell? –
Where are enzymes and proteins made?
Protease enzymes are responsible for breaking down proteins in our food into amino acids. Then different enzymes join amino acids together to form new proteins needed by the body for growth and repair. Protease enzymes are produced in your stomach, pancreas and small intestine.
